This program serves as a stepping stone for students aspiring to enroll for Masters programmes in top universities, providing them with valuable skills, knowledge, and connections within their chosen fields. It also prepares participants for positions in development agencies in positions like Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Officers; Project Officers; Programme Managers, etc.
The Key Elements of the Research Mentorship Program
This is a five-month Program, designed to foster research collaborations between participants and M&A researchers across various disciplines. The 1-on-1 Mentorship allows each participant to be paired with a mentor (an M&A researcher) to ensure the mentorship experience is tailored to the specific needs and interests of each participant. The Program allows participants to gain insight into the research process, develop critical thinking skills, and explore potential career paths.
Our Program covers various aspects of research including research methods, research design, programming of questionnaires; quantitative data tools (Stata, R, etc); qualitative data analysis (NVivo, Atlas.TI, Dedoose), research writing, research publication, and much more.
The Program involves Lectures; hands-on data analysis sessions; group discussions; coaching sessions; and field practices.
