Brief background:
Yankho Mdoka is an upcoming Development Researcher from Malawi with more than two years of experience in the field. He has made significant contributions to the development research landscape in Malawi, particularly in the agriculture sector. Yankho’s professional journey includes role sat Illovo Malawi and Dwangwa Cane Growers, and he is currently serving as a Junior Researcher at Makoka and Associates.
During his time at Makoka and Associates, Yankho has displayed exceptional expertise in project management and coordination, programming, data collection, analysis, reporting, policy brief writing, and research. He is also skilled in team mentoring and field management, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of projects. Over the past two years, Yankho has played avital role in the M&A team, contributing to numerous evaluation studies for various donor-funded programs in Malawi. These programs have received support from esteemed organizations such as GIZ, The World Bank, and USAID. Additionally, he has collaborated with UN agencies including the WFP and FAO, As well as multiple international NGOs operating in Malawi.
